Engineering and Detailing

Experience has taught us that successful projects start with quality shop drawings. Engineering and detailing are so important that we have developed a strict procedure that guarantees all drawings provided to the shop are clear and consistent. The fact that we maintain a large in-house detailing department is something that distinguishes us from the pack and any extra cost is outweighed by the efficiency gained in the shop from the quality of the drawings. Even with capacity, we do maintain alliances with the most reputable offshore firms who are required to follow our tightly controlled procedures ensuring that all drawings released for fabrication contain all the necessary information.

Design-Build/Design Assist

Merrill has multiple engineers on staff and has the capability to perform Design-Build or Design-Assist services for our customers. Our goal is to use our expertise to develop or enhance the design to maximize savings on both cost and schedule.
